Title: posting picures
Post by: cathouse willy on September 18, 2013, 04:39:25 PM
My pictures reside on photobucket and lately when I use my tried and true method of adding photos to a thread it now puts two of  the same photo in the post. Has anyone had the same trouble?

Not so far, I have mine setup so that the link for posting is the only choice it gives me so I just have to copy the link from the library and post.

For starters, you don't need to put in "URL" tags, unless you want people to be able to click your pic, to view others in the album.  Without knowing step by step how you are doing these, I can't help any further.  I also can't get into my own photobucket account at the moment to do a sample...not sure if it's the site or me.

Are you using the img code for forums or one of the other codes?

There's something going on at photobucket. It doesn't copy when you click on it like it used to

CW, when you're in Photobucket click on the IMG code box for the pic you want to post on here.  It automatically copies it to your clipboard.  Then just paste the contents of that right into your message.  It works fine for me.

It did when I tried it just now.

I would try TedEBear's suggestion, I just try copying the links and it worked as it should.

It could have bee a temporary problem at theirs site. If it is not the site, this problem can also be caused by your browser. Have you done any updates to your browser? If you are using IE 10, and have you computer set for automatic updates, that would have recently updated IE 10.

My problem last night must have been site related, as I just got in now.  Granted, I couldn't remember my username/password combination at first, but I know I tried the right one when I was trying last night, as I went in the same order today.  If only I had looked at my passwords spreadsheet. lol.
