Title: Some cheese today
Post by: rexster on October 21, 2013, 10:54:04 AM
Kroger had a sale on their store branded cheese couple of weeks ago and I stocked up on cheddar, swiss, jack and pepper jack cheese. Temps have gone down over the weekend in our area and this was a perfect day to do my cheese. Using a full load of hickory in my AMNS in the Bradley I also put a rack of sea salt to smoke as well

It was a perfect morning in Nebraska, too!  29 F @6:30!  Mine turned out great.  Looking forward to seeing your results!

Nice looking batch of cheese!  Looks like I better get busy and get a load or three smoked for the holidays.

That will make some good eats in a month or so.

Looks great!

Looks like it took some good color.

How long did you smoke it?

5 hours using the AMNS. I tend to leave mine smoking longer than other people as I like a good fullbodied smoke on my cheeses
