Title: My second smoke...ribs...yum
Post by: snowyo on October 27, 2013, 07:41:54 PM
Did ribs on my second smoke.
I'll never boil and grill again.Used the 321 method with some old stock pilsner for the bath.225* all the way through,w 3 hours of smoke to start w/hickory/apple mix.
Turned out awesome.Made my own rub too..This thing works great. :P

Looks good- glad you like it.

Boil?  A wise man once told me: When making soup, do you put the ham bone in the water to get the flavor out of the water into the ham? No, you do it to get the flavor out of the bone into the water - so why would you boil ribs?

I read somewhere that if you boil ribs the terrorists win.
