Title: Snack stick recipes
Post by: miguel622 on November 09, 2013, 09:03:56 AM
I want to put together a 5 lb batch of snack still is for the holidays. I see a lot of people just use a hi-mountain kit or something similar. I have some of the cure #1 that I used for my bacon so I was thinking of just using a teaspoon of that along with a cup of liquid (beer) and some other spices. I was just looking to see what else everyone likes in their sticks.

The possibilities are endless. Here is a good one from the recipe site. http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?648-Greg-s-Spicy-Beef-Sticks (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?648-Greg-s-Spicy-Beef-Sticks)  You can add some jalapeno powder or habanero powder if you like it really HOT.

This is awesome. I knew I should have gone over there. I'll start with these and then increase the spice until I can't take anymore.
