Title: Cani smoke fish and other meats in the same smoker?

just wondering if the myth of flavor transfer is correct.

With two different types of meat at the same time- possible if, say.... beef fat drips on deflector at the bottom, fat vaporizes and the nice salmon you're also smoking absorbs the beef fat smoke. Not a good combo. Trust me. If that scenario doesn't apply, flavor transference isn't an issue.

Hell I remember seeing a bradley commercial where they had dam near everything in there cooking away except the kitchen sink. Must have been one of those Bradley Marketing guys that made it and then thought up the new bradley web site  ::)
