Hi All,
have the 4 shelf digital unit. Love it.
this is the second time that I am using the machine, Great so far.
Am doing 6# of "pork rib ends" from Woodman's..
Split the pieces to 1.5-2" thick, smoking 4 hours with apple @ 180*
the temp is holding well at 179 or so, with a nw wind at 10 to 15 mph.... still holding temp.
Now for the "cheeter"..... I took 2" pink insulation board and made a wrap, bottom, sides and back. top and door are open. made 180* in about 90 min from a 16* start
no issues there. may leave the cover on in the summer too??
OOPS forgot, added 4* of ribs too.
waiting for good eats.

Welcome from Michigan - love to see some pictures
If you can position your Bradley so that it is blocked from that wind your temp will recover quicker. If you can't do that place something on the top of your smoker that will prevent the wind from blowing directly across the top vent.
Welcome from NE Minnesota. Current temp 3.1F
Welcome from Texas and to your newest addiction. :)
welcome from SW Iowa where it's a whopping 0 degree with a wind chill of minus 16

Welcome to the forum from Nebraska. I pre-heat for at least an hour at a temp higher than I plan to cook at. I also put a foil wrapped brick in the bottom. It acts as a heat-sink. And near boiling water in the drip pan. Keep the top vent open!! These are some things I do to smoke when the temps get low. Enjoy your new smoker. And yes, we like pictures!!
