Title: One down one more to go
Post by: devo on December 22, 2013, 07:23:59 AM
This one had been brined with the smokehouse Robs brine. It was a 18 lb bird and took almost 10 hours in the bradley. This really surprised me as I do have the duel element mod and it was mild out.
Most turkeys I have done only went between 6-7.5 hours. Oh well this one is done  :)

Thanks everyone, this one is going to my Son in law & daughter. I kept just enough for me as I have a ham to smoke and another turkey.

Their package

The color is beautiful, and I can almost taste the smoke from just looking.
