Title: Ballpark timing for Turkey Breast Smoke
Post by: mevswild on December 23, 2013, 10:03:21 AM
Im planning to smoke a boneless turkey breast roast on boxing day for a family dinner.  Gonna follow one of the time tested recipes but am curious what i type of timeline im looking at for a 3lb breast?
Just so i can put together an estimated starting time?

Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks and Meery Xmas!

id figure 1 to 1 1/2 hour per  pound on a  turkey breast at 225 f, and smoke with apple for no more then 2 hours. if it  gets done early F.T.C. ( wrap in foil, wrap in a  towel  then into a  cooler  with  out  ice

And don't worry about losing too much heat with the FTC. It will stay hot, especially if you use a thicker towel.
