Title: Hello from New Hampshire
Post by: drdhf on December 27, 2013, 01:51:06 AM
I just got a digital 4 rack smoker for Christmas and I can't wait to try it out this weekend.  My first of many, many dumb questions to come is what should try smoking first? Santa only had room for Maple bisquettes on his sleigh. I have a variety on order.  This seems like a great group.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to the forum from Nebraska.  Make sure you season your smoker per the directions, then maybe try a pork butt for pulled pork.  It's a forgiving cook but takes a while.  Check out our recipes at www.susanminor.org.  Don't be shy about questions, enjoy your new smoker and keep your top vent open!!
