Title: getting there
Post by: dave97402 on January 06, 2014, 06:39:09 AM
Well, I now have some money invested into my free smoker. As well as a back up element just in case! Got a 900W element installed this weekend. I plan to buy the Auber PID and install it in the SG.....then it's time to get serious and smoke some sausage and bacon!!

I have been loving the ease of smoking so far with this unit. Very different from wood fired style. Keep over cooking stuff just by a little because the temp isn't up and down all over the map during smoking process! But I am learning.

Thanks again to all of you here that have posted repairs, mods and just general help!!
