Hello everybody, I been browsing the forum ever since my wife bought me a bs611 for Christmas. I'm located in Saskatchewan. I did a few 5lb batches of GB jerky as test runs, we love beef jerky and will slowly ease into smoking other meat. I rigged up a homemade exhaust hood in the garage which vents out the wall as smoking here in -40 isn't possible. Planning to upgrade with a PID installed in the SG and second element to help with recovery time. I have found lots of great info/ideas in this forum, it's a really great site.
