Title: maverick thermometer question
Post by: kuzzy on January 28, 2014, 11:23:38 AM
Just wondering if a single probe model can be used for cabinet temp?

I can get 2 single probes for less then a double is the reason for asking.

A probe is a probe. I have used 2 food probes in my dual maverick and used one for cabinet temp. Worked ok for me so I can't see why you couldn't do it. The only thing I don't know about if there would be any interference between the 2 transmitters.

I guess it all comes down what you want. I use a maverick 732 (two probes) one for cabinet temp and one for food IT. It's easy to use and its wireless. I can monitor both temps on one unit from my couch.
