Post by: salmonclubber on February 08, 2014, 07:25:07 PM
Its been a while since I loaded up the smoker so I invited a few friends over and filled the smoker with Elk roast beans peppers and some brats and spuds No Finished pics everyone tore it up before I could get the camera out smoked with hickory and 225-250 Turned out great

Gracious I miss elk roasts. Really hard to draw elk tags in SD so it's been since '03 when I last had elk in my freezer. To say I'm jealous would be an understatement!

All I had was some Mccormick Montreal steak seasoning I usually like to use Tatonka dust its great on Elk Everything really turned out great the Brats where really good I made those out of 50/50 Elk and pork I cant wait to do this again soon  :-)

I bet you had to hold your dog at gunpoint to keep him from over running the smoker.  That looks like a feast.
