While eating a baked potato that had been sitting on the counter for hours, I was surprised how hot it still was. This gave me the idea to use baked potatoes like I use my brick in the Bradley. The last time I made a butt, I microwaved two large taters, wrapped them in foil, and put them on the bottom rack. I can't say for sure, but it seemed to speed up recovery quite a bit. Plus I had a couple of really tender potatoes to eat.
