A friend of mine had asked me to help him check out a used commercial slicer that he'd found on Facebook, it turned out to be a 12" model but all the labels were gone so I didn't know what brand it was. I told him what to check for before he bought it, they were asking $150 for it and he ended up getting it for $75 bucks. After he cleaned it up he decided he just didn't have the time to use it or room to store it so he called me up and asked if I wanted it for the $75 he had in it, of course you know the answer to that!

It is older and has a couple of small nicks in the blade that will disappear with a quick sharpening run but it will do some serious slicing. Now I'll have a 9" and a 12" depending on what I need to slice up.

Also Monday was my birthday and the wife ordered me the SRG accessory kit with the rib hooks, chicken leg racks and the kabob stand, I guess I know what she wants for dinner this week.

That's a good deal for a 12" slicer, really good.

I have a older hobart that looks like the one you
Pictured. Heavier than !!!!. Mine still had labels.
Very good slicers. There also is a Berkel that looks

I hope it's a Hobart, I've heard it's hard to get old Berkel parts.
