Seasoning went fine yest.  This morn went to pre heat  the sg wont burn the pucks atall.  After a once over i called canadian tire to exchange since i had meat ready to go.  They only had digi models left so i coughed up the extra $100 (for my auber pid) and went on my way.  Reseasoned and smoked a whole chicken, wings, potatoes, cup slices of bacon and even some kettle cooked potatoe chips.  Turned out awesome  def some perfecting to b done, but i enjoyed the process n the taste even with the hassle to start.

Glad to hear things worked out.
Just an FYI sometimes the plug-ins on the back of the unit work themselves loose, gotta keep an eye on them from time to time
Also Welcome from Iowa and we love pictures

I take tons of pictures just never take the time to host them  if i made a gallery on facebook couldni link it here?
Ps i triple checked all cables.  The feeder was advancing and working as normal. I even took sg apart n blew out checked for loose wires etc.  The heating element/ was only getting like 18volts?when i checked and there is 120 coming in. This weekenr might perfect my wings recipe and maybe do some 321 ribs
