Wow, I can't believe that is has been 6 years since I last posted here. :-[
I bought an original Bradley Smoker way back in 2005 and it has given me 9 years of great service. I used it for the first time this season a couple of weeks ago to do some cold smoking with my new A-MAZE-N-PELLET-SMOKER 5X8 http://www.amazenproducts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=AMNPS5X8 (http://www.amazenproducts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=AMNPS5X8) (which is an awesome product BTW!) and noticed that the bottom left part of the plastic bottom was broken around the screw that attaches the foot to the unit, causing quite a precarious lean. Not being particularly handy with tools, I decided that 9 years of service was enough for my original unit so I went out and bought a 4 rack digital unit yesterday at my local Canadian Tire (they were on sale for $100 off at Canadian Tire in Ontario at least. The sale runs to 5/15 if anyone is looking to pick one of these up).
My wife and I are relocating to the cottage in Bobcaygeon, ON sometime this week for the season and I can't wait to get the new smoker seasoned and in service.
Feels good to be back here and I'll try to post more frequently. :-[
