Title: Datil Peppers
Post by: NePaSmoKer on May 20, 2014, 10:37:54 AM
Picked my first 4 datil peppers off one of my plants. Picked green instead of orange.

Thinking datil and cheese summer sausage or datil-n-bacon smoked cheese :D

Never had one of those but they do look like they can be hot. Resemble a Naga or ghost pepper.

I dehydrate my peppers and then grind them into powder for using all winter long. Season is a lot shorter here. I just put mine into the ground last weekend.
