I used apple to smoke for 1 hr. 40 m. and a total cook time of 2 1/2 hrs at 250*. They were done, by eye (I didn't poke a thermometer in them). I didn't need to throw them on the grill. I'm getting better with this smoker.

those are nice looking burgers. did you use any spice mix or seasoning when they were mixed up and formed. i have started using jans rub in my hamburgers and getting great flavor.

I just used salt and pepper on them this time. I'll definitely make up some Jan's Rub to try, I've seen it mentioned in the forum a lot.

I haven't tried burgers in the Bradley at all yet, might give it a go soon... I had also thought about cold or hot smoking them for a little bit, and then transferring to the gas grill, but just doing the whole thing in the smoker would be simpler.
