Title: New from Alaska
Post by: dude ona bike on June 25, 2014, 03:48:55 PM
New here been looking at site and sure looks like lots of good info. Been out of smoking for a few years and wanted to start again. Was looking at the original smoker but wife talked me into getting the 6 rack digital one  ;D .put first batch of fresh red salmon in last night..only question I have is why did my 3 hrs of pucks burn up in a hour and a half?
thanks

there could be a few  issues here, puck pusher pushing the  pucks too fast, , another  reason  is there is two pucks that have not  burned on the  puck tongue that  still gives you  more time, also most pucks burn for  20 minutes  so if you  want  3 hours of  smoke you  would need 9 pucks to burn and 2 to get the orginal 9 to burn that  remain in the smoke generator tongue.

hope this  helps

welcome aboard
