Title: XTRA HEAT
Post by: Jim O on July 20, 2014, 12:16:16 PM
So what's wrong with leaving the SG running after the smoking's done,to add an additional 125 W to the 500 W in the tower,to help with recovery, and speed up cooking time ?

I used to leave mine on for the entire cooking session until I added a second element.  Now it's no longer needed.

Mine stays on. Does not make sense to me to turn it off.

Every little bit of extra heat helps for recovery up here.
