Title: Nuts, eggs and fish
Post by: WoodlawnSmoker on August 10, 2014, 02:23:46 PM
It was a stunning summer day here today, sunny with very little humidity.  So I spent most of it hanging out with the smoker.

The cashews were mixed with a tiny bit of peanut oil, cajan spice, kosher salt and a bit of cayenne.  The eggs will be made into some smoky devils.  The salmon was dry-brined with brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, cayenne, onion and garlic powder and a bit of maple syrup.

I told Jann I had to keep a close watch on this food, so I "watched" it while enjoying a couple cream ales from a local micro brewery.

A pretty good day hanging out with Bradley.
