Title: Hello from England
Post by: English john on August 18, 2014, 12:57:59 AM
Hello, my name is john and I live near Oxford. UK (well someone has to :)

Used my Bradley original smoker( 4 rqck) at family camp this weekend, having visited your forum and decided it was time to give one a go. Followed the 3-2-1 cooking guides for around 17lbs(7kg+) meaty pork ribs using Oak bisquettes. They were fabulous and a real crowd pleaser at the weekend camp - for old and young in attendance.

So glad I have become a newbie smoker.

Thank you for letting me join. Happy days indeed.

Many regards to all, john and family.

Welcome to the forum from Nebraska.  Lots of good folks here willing and able to help, so ask anything.  Congratulations on your ribs!  They can be difficult to get just right at times.

Hello, thanks for the welcome.

Phew! Luck of the newbie perhaps with the ribs? Must say everyone commented on how tender, juicy and succulent they were - the ribs just flew off the table at the BBq.

Looking forward to smokin lots more(work time permitted).

Regards John.

Hey John, welcome from BC, Canada!

Glad to hear your first smoke was a success, I too had the beginner's luck with my first ribs! So delicious... ;D
