Title: FIRST TIME ABT's
Post by: Jim O on August 20, 2014, 10:44:55 AM
Finally got around to trying ABT's.  Can I prepare them a couple of hrs before I put in the smoker and what type wood is suggested?

Thanks

Sure you can make them up early then smoke/cook them. I have used apple, oak and hickory for ABT's and they were all great. Apple is milder so it is a good choice to try for the first time. Make sure you make more than you think you need because they will disappear fast. :)
