Title: Un freezing-curing-smoking-re-freezing
Post by: spook22 on April 19, 2015, 04:13:10 PM
Hello all

The long subject line says it all pretty much. I have some fresh, sliced and frozen pork bellies bellies that I'd like to smoke. I would like to cure them, smoke the meat and then re-freeze to cook like bacon at a later date. Can I do this or is this the case of the '' dont re-freeze un frozen meat''
Thanks for all your help. You guys have been awesome with your advice. I've made some of the best canada goose jerky I've ever had with advice for other members.

thanks again

I can generally only get frozen bellies, so every time I make bacon, I do this. Not a problem.
