Title: tryed duel element changing to 900 watt mod
Post by: Rodsmachineshop on June 06, 2015, 11:10:47 AM
Don't it figure did the duel element mod even test for a few days . go to put in all this meat to cook and one element takes a crap lol .. So going to do the 900 watt mod instead but also leave the 500 watt element in for a back up heat source if 900 watt element go bad at any time will just put a switch to turn 500 watt element on for a back up .

Good Idea on the backup. I installed the 1100W it is the same size as the 900W. Recovery is fast check my post: http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?action=search2

I replaced the wire with 14G ovenwire.
