Have you checked your electrical circuit to ensure you have power coming to your Bradley?

Yes, that thought occurred to me also. I plugged a drill in and it worked.

Also checked out the power cord to see if a break in a wire and the fuse.

unplug and reinstall the cords. wiggle them in to make sure they are set tight. it mat appear that the cords are in but its common to need to reset them at the start. try that first and make sure there are no other heavy draw items on the circuit   keep the vent open

Is the display lighting up? If so, sometimes the buttons on the digital pad are difficult to push. Make sure you are pushing the buttons dead center, and you may have to use more force then you would think.

Thanks for the help.

I pulled the cords and resent inserted them - pushed in hard and wiggled them. nothing when I tried to start it.

The display does not light up. I tried to push them hard a number of time and still nothing and at center and different angles. Still nothing lights up.

I would either call Bradley or return it to Amazon. Bradley will probably send you a new generator, Amazon has a very liberal return policy and will ship a brand new one out immediately, and you have 30 days to return the defective one. Either way you will be up and running around the same time, but it would be easier just to get the generator, and not have to hassle with repacking and returning the smoker.

If you need to get up and running sooner, the below link may be helpful. While the generator is open check for loose connections.

New smoker came in today from Amazon. Put it together and works fine. Thanks to those who tried to help me with the problem in the first smoker.

Great to hear you up and smoking.

Amazon has a great return policy. As soon as you let them know you want an exchange they ship out the new product within 2 business days.
