hope this information will help

1)  preheat  everything  for  minimum  30 minutes , i usually preheat for  40  minutes
2)  keep the top vent wide open... keep the top vent wise open..
3) keep the  water bowl full of  water ( its ok to  let it  get close to empty )
4) no peaking... if your  peaking your  not  cooking / smoking
5) box temp is around 225 F ( if you  can  maintain that )
6) when you preheat your  box get it as  close to  225 F as  possible and leave the  controls alone
7) remember the smoker is like a  slow cooker crock  pot... low and  slow
8 ) have a beer as you  watch your  smoker do its  thing
9) Box temps will drop significantly under a  large load of meat... 7  lbs and larger
10)  ask if you   need help.. lots of  good folks here to  help and lots of  recipes

Here's a web site that you might want to check out.  Recipes from the forum's most experienced smokers.  These are Bradley specific, so contain helpful details that aren't included in most smoking recipes.
