It says Cabela's exclusive, but i wonder if Bradley them self will sell it too?
I was lucky, a couple of years ago I picked up a damaged 6 rack cabinet (had a small dent in the back) and have used it with by OBS SG. Plus I think they are overpriced. But that is probably just cabelas. They sell the 4 rack OBS for $429 and Walmart sells it for $268. So if it goes widespread you probably can get it much cheaper somewhere else.
Not in stock yet. I think the price will drop once back in stock. It is only my opinion, we will see...
Anyway, i paid 479$. It should be here Wednesday.
I missed this post. It looks interesting, let us know how the heat distribution is.
Congratulations Francois!
Just a couple of pictures of this new 2015 model.

What's wrong with digital ones?
Many of us like using a PID to better control the temp swings. This is especially important when making and smoking sausage. When you use a PID, you don't need the digital electronics. So for the cost of a digital (or close to it) you can get a non-digital and a PID. The only problem in the past has been that they only came as 4 racks.
Is it a more powerful heating element, or the same as the 4 rack?
Also, what are those contraptions over your vents, Toker? Rain guards?

No, same old element, same smoke generator, same wattage :( The metal above duct receptacle above my towers are use to venting out the smoke.
I just ordered a new XLT. I'm picking it up after work today.
Will the Auber PID that I used to control my old 4 rack Bradley Original still work with the new XLT? I know the temp control is in the smoke generator now.
Also, does the dual element mod still work the same in the new XLT? I'm thinking of bringing it in to an appliance repair or electronics repair shop to see if they can do the mod for a reasonable price.
The Auber will work just fine as much as your mods but if you do so right now, your warranty will be voided ;)
