Title: Contractor ith PID

So I had been thinking since puttuIng my second element in the smoker of putting a contractor in to put less stress on the PID do u think I will have to run an auto tune or just leave it the same and see how it runs

if you  have already  done the  auto tune...  most  likely  no,,,, contractors are generally pretty  quick to respond,

just  a  heads up here,,, take the  main  power to  one side of the  contacts,,, and the heater/s  to the  other  side...

from the  PID  to the  coil of the  contractor .. then  you  should be  good to go
