Title: Smoking in Georgia
Post by: BruceJ on September 10, 2015, 03:42:54 AM
After a year of research and forum reading... I dived in with the original Bradley and the Auberin PID...

Used it Saturday before Labor Day for a test run on a chicken, which turned out nicely. Labor Day was an 8 pound boston butt that took 13 hours of nice slow cooking. Have to say, I was overjoyed by the ease of the smoker and flavor of the meat. My past 10 years have been "egging", which mine is old and does not retain or hold heat well. It's now up for sale and I'll be doing the electric smoke for now on.

Nice forum here, thanks for all the help you've given me in making the Bradley my choice of smoker.... looking forward to learning much more!
