Just got a Bradley 6 shelf electronic smoker from a friend who no longer cared to smoke anything ever again apparently. I however have BIG plans for this thing and after a few hours of scraping the inside and scrubbing the fish stank off of the 6 racks I think I'm ready for testing. It is my fondest wish to be able to smoke my own ribs and have them turn out properly so in the future I will be asking a lot of stupid questions and for that I apologize in advance (lol)
Thanks for your time,
Bob Anderson

welcome aboard neighbour,
I am in So Calif as well... orange county, Do not be afraid to ask questions here, there are a lot of good people here to help and point you in the right direction with your smoking projects, along with good information.
as for ribs .. a good place to start is with is the 3-2-1 process....
3 hours of smoke, followed by 2 hours wrapped in foil with apple juice ( room temp here for juice ) then followed by an hour unwrapped,,, after that start lathering with your favourite bbq sauce ( this is for 1 rack of ribs,,, you may have to adjust if you do more then one rack at a time ) at 225 F
also .. keep your top vent wide open at all times, and keep the water bowl full of water.
