Title: Thermocouple placement
Post by: hsmith133 on December 20, 2015, 05:31:33 AM
Hello to all, just bought the Btds76p digital 4 rack smoker.
My last smoker was a great outdoors model, drilled hole in side for temp cable.
Do not want to modify this Bradley, can I run the smokehouse armored cable thru the top vent without damaging the THS-113-178 cable?
Want to leave probe tip in meat, for hands off smoking.
Thanks in advance

I'm not familiar with your cable. When you do position it, position it in such a way that if moisture and/or juices collect on the cable, it will not flow into the end of the probe.
