Title: Hello from Montana
Post by: djmmontana on December 28, 2015, 02:38:40 PM
Hi to all
Got our new BS as a Christmas present.  Today we are attempting Maui beef short ribs with the recipe from the booklet included with our smoker.  Having a tough time getting the temp up to the 150 Friday recommended.   Any suggestions or general a tips for a beginner?   Looking forward to mastering this thing!

adjust the temperature controller all the  way  up,  keep the top vent  wide open.... keep the smoker out of any  breeze or wind as the  breeze will suck the heat out of the box,.,,

welcome aboard
