Title: moose meat
Post by: jimguy on September 20, 2006, 07:06:53 PM
A good friend told me today he has an excess of moose burger. He and his brother each got nice size bulls and he ended up with 617 pouds of burger. He will make beer sausage with some but invited me to come up with some ideas for other types of sausage. This friend helped me make polish sausage last spring which turned out very good, depending on how well you like garlic, it was too strong for him. We agreed to try that again with less.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I had some really good ground moose kabobs things about 3 years ago.  I put out a thread on the forum where I heard about them so hopefully someone will reply ;).
