Title: Leaking smoker
Post by: SmokinScott on September 23, 2006, 07:15:34 AM
My smoker just started leaking juices from between the smoke generator and the box.  I dont recall it doing this before.  Is this normal i would think the drip pan should catch most of it.

im thinking it could be either the top vent was closed a little too much for the amount of moisture the beast was giving up... with no place to go the moisture will take the path of least resistance and come out around the generator port and condense and become liquid smoker moisture condensation...

or perhaps the beast was touching the generator port wall... the wall will wick moisture from the beast and when that happen it makes it way to the bottom and / or generator port...

just a couple thoughts...

because you gottas to eat...
