Hi to everyone hope someone can help

I am wanting to buy a PID from ebay but i am wondering which one is the best to bid on.

Leads me to my next question?

Are they easy to build and what do i need to buy besides the pid to get this baby to work. Like a need the PID FOR DUMMYS book. HAHAHA
