Has anybody had any experiance on cooking a whole pig in a dug pit in the ground or maybe a fire pit.  I have someone willing to give me a pig about 90 lbs or so but i dont know how to cook it does anybody have any info.

Spare no effort in getting it tightly lashed to the spit. Every problem I have had was related to not being able the rotate the beast. Usually occurs in the small hours of the morning when it is a hot pig and hard to handle.  I just hate that....
