Awhile ago Manx sent me some pictures of his neck of the woods and I asked if it was alright to share with everyone. Of course he said no but I'm doing it anyhow :D ;D Just kidding. ;)
I thought it would be kind of neat to see where we all live and share it with others.
I''l get some pics of my place soon.

Beautiful! With regard to the shark, has anyone tried smoking one?
Those are some great pics from my ancestral homeland. I hope to see it in person one day.

Great idea for a thread. I'll post some pics this weekend when I've got more energy. My partner jussed passed by as I was looking at Manxman's pics and said her grandfather was a Manxman. She's fuzzy on when he came over to Canada but I'll find out from her dad. Nice shots of your area too, Peterscreek. I've got to come up and see that area sometime.

Thanks for posting these Iceman, I am planning on putting a few more on Olds recipe site at some stage. Will post when they are there.
It would be really great to see a few pics of where people live. Some great pics already posted.

Interesting, a lot of Manx people emigrated to Canada, the US and Australia over the years, more of them live there now than on the Isle of Man!!

Big problem is getting one on the boat, the shark in the picture is 24 foot long and my boat is only 20 foot long!! :D :D

Nice - and I notice that you must be smoking since there is no fire present.
I think that I would be out there not just for the summer...but all seasons!!! Do you have an adult beverage holder in there too?
Rat, that's the kind of set up I'm TALKIN' about...do we have to pay a membership fee to see pics of the inside of The Rat's Smoke Shack?
The shack must be behind the dumpster in those original pics, right?
This is one of my favorites. Family on beach thing. Family and relationships are our legacy. None of the 'things' really matter. Just thinking of what is important this season.

Just a bit cold, but the fire ring feels great!
