Title: Question For You Circulation Fan Guru's
Post by: NePaSmoKer on January 14, 2007, 04:08:39 PM
I am thinking on a fan but I am wondering how it would work if mounted on the opposite side of the smoke generator? Say middle with a ccw fan.

Chime in anyone

The ones I have seen on the BS so far have been mounted in the back above the heating element and clearing the racks.  It is more for even heat distribution than it is for smoke distribution.  I wouldn't think the relationship to the smoke gen would be as significant.

I would think forcing air across the pucks while they are on the burn plate may cause them to burn too fast.

I chose under the V plate, centered in the rear wall.  One:to not accelerate airflow across the burning pucks two: to better circulate the hottest air.
