Hello All,
Has anyone used one of these smokers in an enclosed area? I have a concession trailer that we use a Bradley Smoker in (or rather out right now), but it limits us when the weather isn't great out. We want to move it inside the concession trailer but need to make sure we can properly vent the unit first. I thought about using a standard hood vent (that you would use above your stove at home). There are a couple that have double fans and push about 500 cfm. Anyone with any ideas?
Thanks in advance...
Welcome to the forum. You should be able to find a way to vent, if nothing else use a dryer exhaust hose.
Ottawabrad,
Welcome to the forum. Owrstrich has vented his out of a hotel room, and there numerous photos on the forum regarding his setup. I am sure he will weigh in when he reads your post.

Welcome to the forum OttawaBrad
Here is a link to some photos of my DBS installed in my heated garage using a range hood for ventilation. The range hood works well. I think you do want at least 300 cfm. You will also have to be careful that you are not sucking the air through the tower. In the photos you can see the modifications I made to the PVC pipe I use to direct the smoke from the vent.
This link is my final finished installation.

Welcome O. B. to the forum. Very little not experience by somebody on this fourm. Dont be a stranger and post your experiences. ;D
Thanks Mr Walleye...great pics...let me ask you though....do you find that the hood fan vents enough when you open the smoker door? The smoke seems to just roll out and this is what I am worried about...

I saw your other post first and answered it there.
