Title: Another Unit Thread
Post by: owrstrich on March 30, 2007, 11:55:51 PM
ok... its time... my motorcycle will be out here in cali on april 14th..

me and the wench are gonna do some 2 up riding to remote places and do some motorcycle camping...

i used to pack a baretta 21a in 22lr everywhere i went... had to stick it up billy bobs nose once... but never had to pull the trigger...

the last time i needed a unit and didnt have one... well... i had to rip the adams apple from the guys throat and wait for him to drown on his own blood...

that was then and this is now... i gotts the wench along for the ride now... so its about darrell darrell and darrell during a water break along the side of the road...  or jose jose and jose just about anywhere...

i really dig the para carry in 45... but i have decided on the kahr... it only a 9 but its a true pocket unit...

1"w  4"h  5"l 14oz 7+ 1...

small and light is required... 9mm minimum... anybody got any other ideas on a polymer trigger cocking dao unit...

you gotta eat...

i had a taurus 45 many years ago... they are nice units... but the para is still my fav in 45...

that taurus is a little bigger and heavier than what i had in mind...

im talking a true pocket gun...

45 would be nice cause it only takes 1 230gr tallon...

but a 9 will be much smaller and lighter...

They all beat throwing a rock all to hell. A great tool for self preservation. Love the Kahr pm9.
Carry it 25 years and only need it one time...........That's when it's worth a Million Dollars. ;)

Olds,
That looks like one loaded gun.  Suspect the 151 caliber ammo has a lot of kick in it.  Bacardi rounds pack a punch. :D
