Looking for Beef Ribs....Methods and Recipes. I love my pork ribs but beef....ho hum.
Tried a dry rub beef rib in San Luis Obispo CA...Fell in love. Must find something similar
or better.
Iceman's rub works well. I also like to coat them with Ice's Sopin' Sauce and a flash grillin to glaze. I have also used a dry rub that I use on brisket, pork butt, or pork ribs. There are also a lot of wet marinades. I have used on called Buccaneer Beef Ribs with Rumbullion Barbecue Sauce from Raichlen's BBQ U. It has a little scotch bonnet heat added. :o ;D
Fairly new to this forum thing....where can I find that rub?
Thanks for the tip
Iceman is member of the forum. You can personal message (PM) him and he will fix you up.
I would also suggest looking at Oldman's Recipe site. Here is a link to the Beef Ribs post:

Olds is using a highly complicated rub of just black and white freshly gound pepper and salt. :D
Here is a link to the recipe pages where you will find a lot of extremely good recipes and techniques.
You can also try this rub from Al Roker and modify it to your liking:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ground black pepper
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup adobo
3/4 cup paprika
3/4 cup chili powder
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons allspice
I like to use Celery Salt instead of plain salt. I love the flavor of it.
Be sure to get Iceman's rub and sauce. It makes anything taste good.
Thanks everyone. ;D
