Title: searching for TX style BBQ sauce recipe
Post by: kiyotei on May 11, 2007, 07:26:30 AM
I used to live in Dallas and love Dickey's BBQ sacue.  Does anyone know a good recipe for TX style BBQ sacue?  I've tried making a few I've found on the internet and they've all been pretty bad.

Sorry, never ate BBQ while in Dallas.  Until I tried Iceman's Sop n Sauce, I used to like a South Carolina sauce, but no others.  Now all I use is Sop n Sauce.

I haven't tried any of the Texas style BBQ sauces in Paul Kirk's "Championship Barbecue Sauces"; but he has a few recipes in that book. I have tried several of his rub and sauce recipes, and haven't been disappointed yet.
