I had a chance to go a couple of weeks ago here in Toronto and had to miss it. Apparently the new singer for Chains does a nice job replacing Staley (God rest him) and Cantrell still sounds great.
Layne Staley had some of the best pipes in music history and he burned out way too young just like so many others before him.
Velvet Revolver is supposed to be unbelievable. Slash is on fire.
I don't think you'll have any trouble ditching those tickets. Too bad you can't make it.
