This is a sucker that came up 5-6 years back off of a dead tree....or as least I thought is was dead as it was completely rotted to the gound.  I think I've got to rope it back up. What do you all think?

Man O Man I think we going to be guacamoled pretty soon.   ;D

(For those that don't know those are to many avocados for a skinny sucker...Oh ya the original tree was full grown when Susan moved into this house in 1968!)

That's fascinating Olds, do you think all the freak weather has played a part?, or it's just a very strong tree?

Whatever the reason nice result all the same  ;)

Man, I'd be up there with some Jalepeeno's and tomatoes and a big, big bowl.  And a call line into Safeway to send us some bags of Fritos.

Yum.

I pulled 50 today, and I bet there is another 50-60 left on the tree. All of this off of a small sucker! In 10-12 years I bet it will be in the hundreds...

I'm going to be loading up the ground around that tree with Blood & Bone Meal, Green Sand, and much Fish & Seaweed extracts. Also some fermented corn meal (like a beer) to promote worms.
