Title: A Nice Gift From Wife
Post by: NePaSmoKer on August 29, 2007, 02:39:02 PM
In April we had to have or schitzu put to sleep.

Today my wife got me a present  ;D  A 9 week old schitzu. We named her kiki. Wife said she wont replace suzi but kiki will keep me company while i am gone on business trips. I wanted to name her Bradley but wife didnt like that one  :D

A real beautiful pup NePa. I'm sure your wife will enjoy her. You're right, you can never replace Suzi, she was a dog all of her own as Kiki will become. Enjoy the new personality, have fun training her and most of all enjoy the puppy smell. That's something I wish I could bottle, that and puppy breath. I'm sure the bonding is already in full gear. Good luck and welcome Kiki!!! ;) :D

Thanks guys

Going to lightly do some puppy jerky.

Ground beef or chicken through the fine plate of my grinder 3 x. No salt or pepper, just a pinch of garlic powder. Smoke for 10 mins then into dehydrator.  I'm sure i will get lots of licks  ;D

Wise man.  I'll learn, eventually.... How long does eventually take?  I'm either slow or stubborn, or probably both. :-[

Hi Nepa,
Sorry to hear about your last Shih Tzu Suzi, I'm also a big Shih Tzu fan.  I have one named Leo.  Kind of ironic since full grown he's only 6.5lbs (he's supposedly an "Imperial" so 6.5lbs is unusual size).  Kiki is a cutie and she will love your jerky.  Also a suggestion I've made is dehydrating sweet potato/yam.

Cute pup Nepa. Geez what ever you do make sure you treat momma real nice for that one. As far as that male thing goes it is all clear to me now. What ever I do or say is going to be wrong so I just don't worry about it and do it anyhow. :D
And to think she actually had to ask me what the bunk bed in the Winstons new dog house was for. Dang that reminds me I need extra blankets, winters getting close. ;D

Great looking pup NePas!

Funny how no matter how bad of a day you are having, when you walk in the door and your little pup is waiting for you, excited as they can be that you are home, it makes everything all better.

I believe this is called the "50/50/90" rule  If you have a 50/50 chance of being right, there is a 90% chance you will be wrong.
It is also easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission ;)

Now times that by 6 labs and that's what I have. I can never have a bad day. They won't let me. :D :D :P

HCT seen "A Christmass Story"  course the Bumpas are the neighbors who have the hound dogs.

Just keep an eye on that Christmass Turkey.  Hate to think you would need to look for some Chinese Duck.

Funny thing, one house near me puts up a "National Award Prize" in their front window.  And it looks as authentic as was in the movie.  We stopped on the road just to look and have a good time.  Great memories.
