I'm just realizing that there are so many more interesting kitchen gadgets I don't have. Can everyone let me know what they have and was it worth buying?
TIA
Not a gadget necessarily but a Santoku knife, a good one, has become an essential in my kitchen. A great multi-purpose knife if ever there was one. Also, a remote probe thermometer is very nice. Lowes has one for about $30. It's money well spent.
Why not get a French maid to go with your kitchen.
Brad
So Brad, gotta ask: does this "French Maid" suggestion have anything to do with your new rib convert?
And as for the kitchen gadgets, I suggest two: a food saver and a Cuisinart mini prep. Smoking projects generally make more food than required for two people and you can freeze leftovers in portions. Plus, the canisters can really help with marinating. The miniprep is great for working with fresh herbs or grinding up whole spices.
Then there's another favorite for help in marinating the chef: the Rabbit wine opener.

Make sure you look for the quantity discount
Now we're talking. Keggerator! Do you keg yer own, or buy in quantity and wait for guys like me to vist?
Slicer is the one I forgot to mention, but pales next to the CO2 powered fun vessel!
I bought a couple empties, and put them in the rotation from from the micro brewery that I buy from.
Here's my other "essential"!

Nice set-up. Looks you are using ball taps. I like them because the kegs are so easy to clean. I have a couple of "pub Kegs" which are soda kegs converted to Sankey. They are a little taller than the stock model so I can only fit 2 in my machine at a time. So I went with the 15.5 model and I don't need to refill as often. ;)

Ball-lock fittings it is! Very easy maintenance! I love walking by and topping up my glass! Not really drinking another, just keeping the current one filled! I've added some stainless drip trays since I took the pictures. They are essential.
Quotejust keeping the current one filled!
It's never a lie if someone asks you how many have you had and you say just 1 :D
After giving this some thought, the gadget that I get the most use out of are my Nuscup adjustable measuring utensils. One measures 1/2 C to 2 tablespoon; and the other measures 2T to 1/8 teaspoon. The measure both dry and liquid ingredients, and are well made.

So the magic bullet is worth the money? I've been skeptical! Is it worthwhile if you've already got a mini-processor?

I use mine all the time. Makes quick smoothies, and I do small batches of salsa and pesto with it. It's nice to just pop it off the motor and twist a top on and into the refer.
I keep one at work for making small batches of soup in the microwave. Just toss in some broccoli or asparagus with some broth and zap til it's cooked then add some cream and blend it up and it's instant soup time. Best of all it's a one cup clean up. :)
I always wanted one but never purchased one because I read a lot of bad reviews. But someone got one for us for our wedding and I love it.
I use mine every morning to make a smoothie for breakfast. I also use it for things like Iceman does, salsa, dips, etc. We also have a mini food processor but the Magic Bullet makes for much easier clean up, IMO.

I have 3 blenders and still bought a Magic Bullet. It does individual smoothie's for after the gym workouts.
Ahhh....love gadgets
