Welcome, dburanich! Enjoy your new toy. My first smoke was pork butt for pulled pork. Easy and great tasting. Gives you the confidence for future smokes. ;)

Welcome D!
The guys on this forum are great at answering questions without making you feel stupid.  Believe me, I know.  I have asked plenty and they still let me on!  Got a pork loin curing in the frig, will put smoke on it Sunday for canadian bacon.  First time trying bacon so I'll probably have lots of questions before that's finished. ;D

Enjoy your smoker and let us know how it's going!

Welcome! Don't get discouraged if your first couple of smokes aren't perfect. Just learn from any mistakes you might make and from these guys on the forum, they know their stuff. And, like they told me, throw away your scales and let your belt out a few notches...

Thanks for all the warm replies.

I am going to go ahead and get my feet wet tomorrow by cooking some St. Louis ribs.

I'm looking forward to some almost fall off the bone ribs.

Thanks Again
