Title: Newbie question about Cure #1, InstaCure #1, Prague Powder #1
Post by: bcflyfisher on October 17, 2007, 08:58:16 AM

I'm fairly new to using a smoker and was trying to find (Cure #1, InstaCure #1, Prague
Powder #1, or Pink Salt) where do you find this stuff.

I've smoke some bacon and cured it only using sea salt and Maple syrup for 5 to 6 days.
But most of the posts I've reviewed indicate that one of the previously mention curing
additives are used.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I'm located in the Vancouver area and I know of a place out in Langley with sausage
making  equipment and spices.

I will try them.

Thanks
